Michael O’Shea
Michael has in excess of 50 years’ experience as a Solicitor. He is a trusted advisor to many successful business and private clients. Michael’s areas of practice include commercial advisory and transactional work. He also advises businesses on corporate structures, company law requirements and director’s duties. Michael also advises his clients on residential and corporate property transactions including sales and leases and will drafting and probate.

Mick O’Shea
Mick is one of the founding Partners of O’Shea Barry Solicitors LLP. He advises in all aspects of residential and commercial property law and in general commercial law.
He obtained an honours degree in Business and Legal Studies from University College Dublin in 1997 and was admitted as a solicitor in 2000. He also holds a Diploma in Commercial Property Law and is a qualified mediator.

Aisling Murphy
Aisling is a Partner specialising in Litigation and Dispute Resolution.
She has extensive experience in personal injuries litigation, commercial and property related disputes, defamation, employment and family law matters. She has acted in professional negligence claims for both claimants and defendants.
She specialises in defence insurance litigation including employer’s liability, public liability and product liability cases.
She has experience in regulatory law in financial services and also advises professional indemnifiers in respect of policy disputes in insurance contracts and has acted in associated arbitrations.
Aisling graduated from University College Cork with an honours degree in Civil Law in 2005 and an honours LLM (Criminal Justice) in 2006. She recently also awarded a post qualification diploma in Employment law.

Pauline Cronogue
Pauline deals with all aspects of estate planning and succession law, probate, will drafting and enduring powers of attorney. Pauline has earned a Diploma in Trust and Estate Planning in the Law Society of Ireland and on successful completion, will become a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), the professional body for trust and estate practitioners worldwide. She also works in residential conveyancing.
Pauline holds an honours degree in legal and business from Waterford Institute of Technology and was admitted as a Solicitor in Ireland in 2012. Pauline is also admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales.

Peter Gibbons
Peter is a Partner who specialises in litigation and dispute resolution. He provides expert legal advice to ensure his clients achieve their long-term strategic goals. Peter is a trusted legal advisor to a wide variety of clients including private individuals, small and medium businesses and larger companies, including banks and insurance companies.
Peter has vast experience advising clients in commercial litigation, professional negligence, debt recovery and enforcement, employment disputes, defamation, property-related disputes, insolvency and agricultural disputes.
Peter also specialises in personal injuries litigation and medical negligence. He acts for both claimants and defendants in all Courts throughout Ireland. Peter regularly acts for insurance companies, defending clients in public liability, employers’ liability, product liability and professional negligence claims.
After graduating from UCD and DIT, Peter qualified as a Solicitor in both Ireland and England and Wales and was recently awarded post-qualification diplomas in insurance law and also technology law by the Law Society of Ireland.

Suzanne Handley
Suzanne is the Finance and Office Manager with responsibility for the daily financial and administrative operations of the firm. Suzanne has over 25 years’ experience working in finance, governance and operational roles across both private and not-for profit sectors.
